Intermountain Histories 4.0.4

Intermountain Histories is a complimentary application offering an extensive collection of scholarly information and interpretive narratives pertaining to historic sites and events across the Intermountain West, encompassing Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. This platform allows users to delve into the rich histories of the region's diverse peoples, places, institutions, events, and cultures.

The app features an interactive GPS-enabled map that facilitates both virtual and physical walking tours of historical landmarks. Acting as a personal tour guide, Intermountain Histories supplies users with an array of resources including historical information, photographs, documentary videos, audio interviews, oral histories, and bibliographic citations to enrich their exploration.

Initiated and overseen by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University, this collaborative project showcases meticulously researched histories created by students and faculty from various institutions throughout the Intermountain West. A comprehensive web-based version of the application is accessible at intermountainhistories.org.

New locations will be continuously added to the map as research progresses, encouraging regular visits to stay updated.
